  • Coastal Cottage Bathroom in Need of Major Help!!, This is our master bath. We don't have a lot of money to spend in here, but I really want it to have a coastal cottage feel. I have just ran out of inspiration, but in compaison to the gold trim and knobs, the green counter tops, and the green Ivy wall paper, it does look alot better., Bathrooms Design

  • Welcome to our home..., This is our small foyer in our home. I added a simple bench that opens for storage and added baskets under (1 for each child) to hold mittens hats etc. Even though the hall is narrow I added a small table with a lamp to add light in that area. I have all sepia family prints in the stairwell. It was hard to get a good shot of these. I plan to build on this area over time.I also recently added a few Fall touches around...hope you like it :), Porches Design

  • Makeover on a budget, This bathroom was a blah standard room with odd separations. It had a garden tub that took up most of the space and a 29" square shower--utterly useless. Now it is open, modern with an air of Victorian antiquity using an antique dry sink and a glass vessel and open storage. All this for $6,500 which included $2,500 for a contractor to do plumbing and demo. Everything else was done by me, from floor tile to reconfiguring the dry sink, building the open storage, wallpapering, painting, and tiling the shower. , Bathrooms Design

  • Sun Room, Our Sun Room is basically falling apart. It has a slope that is not supposed to be there. It was added onto the house before we bought it. We dont like the floors or the walls or furniture. We would like for it to havea darker tile and more modern furniture. We just want something we could sit in all year because right now it is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. It would be nice to have a breakfast area also with a little sitting area. , Other Spaces Design

  • Basement/Workshop, This is 900sqft of basement that I've transformed into a woodshop finishing area gun bench & storage. Each machine has a dust collection port that hooks up to the 4" dust vacuum hose...fine dust is handled by air filtration hung from the ceiling ....dust can only be minimized not eliminated. All machines are run off a sub-panel in the basement incase a circuit is tripped or can be disabled with a simple 'main switch' if children are present without adults to prevent accidents., Garages Design

  • Scammed by the cabinet man--Need suggestions to fix our kitchen!, Our kitchen had hurricane damage from hurricane Charley in 2004. The person we hired left the kitchen unfinished. We want to add seating for 5. We are missing a cabinet door have bowed cabinet ends and a 3 inch gap next to the wall. The cabinets are glazed maple. I can't afford to tear out the kitchen and start over so I have to figure out how to fix this. I need suggestions to transform this space from our constant reminder of Hurricane Charley into a classy kitchen I can be proud of., Kitchens Design

  • Barrel Arch Foyer with Side Sitting Room, Seems a little county. Creamy brown walls are outlined by thick white baseboards. Ceilings are 9 foot and are architecturally appealing as they are accented by a barrel arched in the entry. The entryway opens to the side with a small sitting room which is very bright due to the five windows that line two of the walls. The space has pops of copper orange, chocolate brown, and yellow as accent colors. , Other Spaces Design
