This is my Chicago Bears basement/man cave! It has taken me over 100 hours to paint it. I used 12 rolls of blue painters tape. 7 tubes of paintable caulking! The walls were heavily textured, so to make the lines sharp and crisp I had to caulk over each tape line. The Bear head on the wall is not a Fat Head. It was done free hand from a picture. I first drew the outline in white chalk, then went back and made changes where I needed to. The chalk wipes off easy. The next plan is to carpet the floor with Green indoor/outdoor carpet and paint yard lines on it. I will post pictures when done. The paint was Bought from Home Depot the NFL collection. Any ideas please let me know!

My winter dishes are called "Winter Frost" and I use that to build a theme around in the Dining room. This year I changed the chandlier decorations and added some snowflakes to the windows. How do you think they compare with last years photos?

My home in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I love nature and enjoy my wild visitors who come by on a regular basis. Birds of all kinds black bears raccoons skunks foxes and even a mountain lion on occasion. My home looks down on the 'LIttle Paris of the South' Asheville and across the spectacular mountains that surround it.

This is my 9 year old son's bedroom that he wanted me to create for him. Obviously he is a huge Chicago Bears fan and he loves to show off his space to his friends.

This is the larger kitchen in our Victorian Italianate Duplex. We made updates in in a ten year period. We have before and after photos. Recently the kitchen was updated with new Granite Counter Tops with Glass & Marble Backsplash. The floor was still in good shape so we kept it. The Bisque Colored Top of the Line Appliances were purchased used from Craigslist from people who wanted new Stainless Steel ones now. We feel the kitchen has a light vintage look that goes with this landmark older home.

This is our new nursery for baby #2 (girl. My husband did all the painting. We still have a few small touches to add once the baby arrives (name above crib and picture frames. The bedding is typically for a boy but I loved it and will add some "girly" touches.
