We just moved in to our dream home on Pensacola Bay. At least we dream of it being our dream home! Our first priority is creating outdoor living spaces. How do we enhance the wonderful view of the bay?

This is the room that would typically be called the formal living room. We are casual and have young children. I think the space is well suited to our lifestyle. It is a perfect space for conversation or to curl up and read a book. After dinner parties we generally circulate into the space for after dinner drinks and dessert. I still need to change out the previous drapery. It is not my style. It does match to some degree so it has been a little farther down on my to do list. I'll get them done, hopefully this year. Enjoy and thanks for looking!

These are pics of the outside of the house. We did alot of work on the front in the past 3 years. It looked so different when we bought it. The shutters were like a dark green, the landscaping was basic builder stuff. We also had a fence and a storage building put up.

This is our tiny family/dining room. We have a blank canvas and I would love to hear everyone's ideas! We are a small family with 1 daughter and 1 more girl on the way!

Here is our upstairs living space/gameroom. My family uses it as a TV and computer room. My three teens live in this room. Many evenings I find them at the computer or in front of the tube. We only recently built the computer nook and it quickly became one of the most used spots in our home. The sofa is a sleeper for when my kids have sleepover movie nights with friends. I reluctantly chose to forego a coffee table because they are "floor-loungers" as well. Form must follow function afterall...dang it! ;- I plan on adding drapes soon as well just to carry the color to the other side of the room. Thanks for Rating My Space!!

Here I worked with an American family of four living overseas in Singapore for nearly 5 years now. They have grown to love and obtain many pieces throughout their travels. Here's how we incorporated them into a comfortable living environment in their permanent home here in sunny Arizona! Their goal.....comfort comfort comfort with a slight reminder of their home in Singapore. (Btw a stunning area rug was added post photos that really ground the space and pulled all the colors together!

Living room split into two areas. As you walk in on the right is where most time is spent on L shaped corner sofa. This faces a slim LED TV, XB Kinect, WII, XBOX, DVD player etc. There is an fire also built into the wall.
On the other side two leather sofas with coffee table in middle. Music system mounted on the wall. Mostly used for guests and listening to music.
Lighting is via spot lights and one up light. Two coloured spot lights under bay window for night useage.
The flooring was a labour of love to install and polish! All flooring on the ground level is wood parquet (parkay. Each block is about an inch and half thick.
The French doors lead into the kitchen (not parquet but tiles on floor. These are mostly kept shut and kitchen accessed via the front landing.
Will upload pictures of the kitchen soon…

This is my gameroom with built-in computer nook. It's a multi-purpose room where my 3 kids hangout and do homework. It also serves as my home office as a real estate agent. The workstation has deep legal size file drawers and lots of closed storage space. The open shelves go all the way to the ceiling and are a great place for books, awards and mementos. Thanks for Rating My Space!

This is a small kitchen dining nook with a baywindow and wndow seating. The valances covering the windows were hand made and the fireplace electric heater gives off a cozy warmth during a chilly evening. We found that a round drop leaf table works better for the space. Wish I had taken pics before the makeover. A nauseating 70's wallpaper was ripped from the walls and replaced with texture and a neutral paint color.
