  • Garage Workshop, Recently completed garage workshop for building my kit airplane. The design was meant to be industrial and clean. The colors are shades of gray. Exposed conduit and custom spiral ducting were used to compliment the industrial theme. I also vaulted the ceiling and exposed the beams. An attic is built into the front part for storing parts. Cabinets and colors are all shades of gray with a white hangar floor. Skylights with shades were installed for additional natural light. Window blinds are all metal., Garages Design

  • Man's Cave - Home Workshop, This is a basement workshop that I designed and built on my own. I enjoyed creating the "man's cave" by looking at other workshops while brainstorming custom solutions in all phases of the process. I would design a little, then build a little .The shop workbench is the cornerstone of the project. As you can see, we started with bare studs and poured concrete walls! It was a huge job, but I am happy with the outcome. I hope you enjoy the photos and please share your comments and suggestions as they are always appreciated from the HGTV community. Thanks!, Basements Design

  • Super Fan That Will Blow You Away, My wife and I had a whole HVAC System put in including the duct work in the crawl space. In the pile of trash the techs had pulled out was this fan from the old system. They asked me if I wanted to keep it and I said sure, why not? i didn't really know what I was going to do with it till I started building a storage area in my Attic over the garage and it was HOT!!!!. So I got this great idea to make it a garage fan and it worked so well. I thought we could also use it in the yard when we're working in the gardens. So this is what I came up with and it will blow you away, WOW!!!!, Garages Design
