  • Our living room looks like a nature preserve, My husband is an avid deer hunter, but there is not enough space to display all his trophies. We have 4 deer heads in our living room and 3 in the excercise room. I am at a loss to combine them into the room without taking over. The problem is not that I hate the deer heads. My husband is a passionate hunter and I want his things in our home too. We just do not have a basement, den, family room, or outdoor "hunting lodge" to put them.   • Battle of the Sexes, Ok I like old world style but my husband is a huntin' man. The deer mounts have to be in my living room. How the heck do you make this work? Any tips?   • The Little Man Cave, When we found out we were expecting our first baby, my mind immediately went to work planning the nursery. After finding out we would be having a boy, I wanted to create a space that was "all boy." Since his daddy enjoys the outdoors, I decided to bring the outdoors in and create "The Little Man Cave" (as named by my husband). Antlers are very masculine, but when they are spray painted white, it creates a "softer" baby appropriate affect. The antlers were provided by my husband's father and the plaques were hand crafted by my father. I love that the whole family was involved with the nursery! I also knew that I wanted a gray and yellow color scheme, and since I couldn't find a bedroom set that I liked, I decided to try my hand at sewing my own. I think the quilt, bed skirt, and sheets turned out cute! :), Nurseries Design

  • Woodland Decor Dining Room, I like to theme each room differently. My dining room has a woodland theme. I thought about wallpapering the room with "logs" and/or changing the ceiling light to an antler chandelier but am concerning it would become too much.My living room is a nautical theme.
