My gardening style is quite relaxed. I have objects of all sorts and sizes in my garden. Some are meant for the garden and some have been repurposed. Tasteful placement of various and interesting objects is an important element in my gardens. Objects can be used as focal points or as semi-hidden surprises as you stroll around your yard.
My husband Found this old wheelbarrow in an out building when We purchased our home~He Thought it would make a Pretty Portable flower garden~he was right~I Am so happy with this!( i placed it in the middle of my wrap around driveway at my farm house~country home~We planted flowers in it and Here you have it~The results~HOPE U ALL ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS WE DO

This is my little girl's bedroom. I have painted it purple, and am using the purple and green quilt from Pottery Barn Kids. I love the style of the bed, however when it arrived it was in antique white not white. Does the antique white clash with the white painted trim and doors in the bedroom? Also what color frames and such should I use on the walls? We tried to exchange the bed for a white bed, but Ashley furniture will not accomidate us. Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated!!

A place to curl up read a book and nap on warm days in Spring and Summer.In Winter time there is a small free standing fire place to cozy up to. My two little dogs love it and the feral cats go there to warm themselves and feast on the goodies I leave for them...

When we can use her play room as an office our daughter will get a much bigger room. So her room was decorated with a color scheme suitable for a future guest room. She loves the outdoors: flowers butterflies birds and turtles:. Everything including furniture was under $1300.

I love spending time out here reading and having my morning coffee and night time adult beverage. Anyone care to join me. We give garden tours. I love it in the spring, however the summer has lots of flowers. The downside is in the Fall and Winter it doesn't look so inviting.

UPDATE: Well, we finally finished our bathroom and are now moving on... This past weekend we installed a new sliding glass door removing a large old pane window. We also installed our back screen door off of our bathroom. We have now decided to build a "summer porch" onto the back of our home - there is a deck we already built and we are making it into the "summer porch" which will be partially screened in so we can sleep out there on cool nights. So this is our new project and we hope to have it finished by winter, which is just around the corner ! ! We'll see..... we also would like to add onto the deck where we just installed our new sliding glass door, but I doubt that all of this will get competed. Another "work in progress" - will post pics.

My mom painted and embellished the crib. The changing table is actually over 100 years old. My grandmother's ornate birth certificate is framed on the wall by the window.
