Oh what fun! I am so glad to be here today sharing photos from my latest project, baby VictorâÂÂs nursery. The space feels so airy, but cozy. There is a beautiful texture wall made from wood and white 3D wall tiles. A little bit of green, some gray and a touch of red brings life to the space. The room is a continuation of the design style of my home. But here it has a whimsical feel. With lion and horse figures, animal art prints, and a fox decal, this nursery is a woodland heaven.

I redid this room after my oldest daughter moved out. I painted the walls this really relaxing mossy green. The bedding is a beautiful red/green/tan paisley print. My husband built the black framed mirror . Recently we installed the headboard and the ceiling fan.

We chose sky blue for our little girl. We went w/ an animal theme! I wanted the animals to be cartoon-y & I think we've achieved the look we were going for. This space is giving me the blues. It really needs a baby grand piano at least that's what I keep telling my husband (lol. The room seems a little cold becasue I have 28 ft. ceilings. Well I am used to giving adivce in my column but I need your help now! I painted the frames on two huge painting. They used to be bright gold gold. I hot glued fringe to my couches and I recovered and painted two benches. I framed the mirror on the wall. Any ideas? Ask Mi-Ling!

This is a very small guest bedroom and is the first room in our house that I consider "done". It has taken us a long time and we have basically just purchased items over the last year that we thought would work in here. I don't feel I have much of a decorator in me so please post away! I would like for my guests to feel comfortable and warm but with a hint of excitement. What do you think about it?

This is the existing kitchen in our new home. Please note the "tastefull" use of orange "animal print" tile and the "artful" black trim on the counters. Look! It's on the ceiling around the light fixture too! Lucky us! LOL

I had so much fun creating this space. A lot of what you see are DIY projects. My mom (first time grandma ; helped me pick out the fabrics and made the bedding and window treatments. My sister, Lauren, is an amazing artist, and so she did the art work. I did a lot of the knick knacks in the room- the frames, the lampshade and the shadowboxes (which are still a work in progress. This nursery was created at the last minute. I wasn't going to do a nursery because I only had $400 I could spare at the time. I saved big by making all the wall decor window treatments and things like that. It was so much fun and the theme should last our little one until he is atleast 3. Still need to add baby-safe closet doors though.
