We didn't know if we were having a boy or girl so I went with this pottery barn collection. I love it. We had fun with her nursery. My husband painted the canvases and we went ahead and added a full size bed. Her crib will convert to a full size bed. Reason for no headboard. This is a space that brings a smile to my face EVERY day.

Since we do not know what we are having, I wanted a fun and gender neutral theme. Living in Kentucky, a farm theme seemed to fit. I wanted a lot of different colors and textures and they eye to wander around the room. Nursery design by Linda Betz, a family friend.

We chose sky blue for our little girl. We went w/ an animal theme! I wanted the animals to be cartoon-y & I think we've achieved the look we were going for. Due to lack of space you can't see all of the animals on here or their detail. Follow the link for more detailed look at each animal:share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8QcsWTNm2bMTA

The goal was to create a space that could grow with the child. A room that was inspired by the wild animals children love with a hint of vintage style that brings together the old and new. I didn't want to go with too much 'matchy, matchy' and wanted to be able to easily incorporate sporting pieces, firetrucks, airplanes and all things "boy". Lastly, the colors were important, in that I wanted something classic, but not pastel. We were excited about how it came together in a way that's certainly appealing to a little one, but not to 'kiddie'.

Oh what fun! I am so glad to be here today sharing photos from my latest project, baby Victor’s nursery. The space feels so airy, but cozy. There is a beautiful texture wall made from wood and white 3D wall tiles. A little bit of green, some gray and a touch of red brings life to the space. The room is a continuation of the design style of my home. But here it has a whimsical feel. With lion and horse figures, animal art prints, and a fox decal, this nursery is a woodland heaven.
Here is a list of where you can find all the lovely items in this nursery:

We chose a cowboy theme for our son's nursery. I did a faux blue jean painting technique on the walls. We installed a chair rail around the room, which I stenciled colorful cowboy pictures above. My mom sewed the window treatments and viola - a fun and inviting baby boy's room was born!

We decided to wait to find out the sex of our baby until the birth, so we needed a neutral nursery. We knew we wanted a forest theme but the challenge was to make it welcoming for a boy or girl. Well, we had a boy!

This is our son's nursery. We decided to go with an outdoor cabin theme. There is hardly anything out there with this theme at the major baby stores, so we created it on our own and finding things from small online shops.

This was my first time painting everything, We moved into a new house and ontop of that I was 8 months pregnant, I tried to not make it too busy but i wanted one wall to be a focus. This is something that i think that he can grow with and the pitcures on the mural can be removed and replaced.

Well it appears at times we have, to take the home office and turn it into a nursery. I would like to congratulate my clients on their baby boy due this January 2010. The clients requested that I create a nursery with a dragonfly theme. I initially created a design concept that had bluish tones, after discussing and presenting the initial design to the clients, We changed the colors slightly to have a more "out of the box" approach to the nursery design. The second concept with the greenish tints and more orange accents was the design we choose. Visit to see more designs or ask questions at www.pierreji.com
