  • Large living room with wall of windows, This space is giving me the blues. It really needs a baby grand piano at least that's what I keep telling my husband (lol). The room seems a little cold becasue I have 28 ft. ceilings. Well I am used to giving adivce in my column but I need your help now! I painted the frames on two huge painting. They used to be bright gold gold. I hot glued fringe to my couches and I recovered and painted two benches. I framed the mirror on the wall. Any ideas? Ask Mi-Ling!, Living Rooms Design

  • Safari Guest Room, This is a very small guest bedroom and is the first room in our house that I consider "done". It has taken us a long time and we have basically just purchased items over the last year that we thought would work in here. I don't feel I have much of a decorator in me so please post away!   • Kids' living room, This space has been evolving for the past 8 months and still need changes. We need to replace the futon which was only bought for nephews to spend the weekends and we got tired of the beat up look of it. The rug, needs to go !!   • From nothing to a lot? Living room makeover, I just decorated this living room area. Before the makeover I only had the leather couches and zebra armchair. I moved those couches closer to my fireplace and one of them are parallel to the fireplace instead of the big screen TV. Do you think my living room looks too crowded? or too much color?   • Blue and Brown DIY Jungle Nursery , I had so much fun creating this space. A lot of what you see are DIY projects. My mom (first time grandma ;)) helped me pick out the fabrics and made the bedding and window treatments. My sister, Lauren, is an amazing artist, and so she did the art work. I did a lot of the knick knacks in the room- the frames, the lampshade and the shadowboxes (which are still a work in progress). Enjoy :), Nurseries Design

  • C's Safari Bedroom, I did this room for a 13 year old girl as a birthday present from her mom. I was able to do it for about $1000 which included a new desk, nightstand, pictures, accessories, rug, lamps, bedding, pillows, curtains, hardware and paint for the walls, ceiling and trim. I was able to redo her mirror and also reupholstered a hope chest she had for extra storage. , Girls' Rooms Design
