  • Our New Laundry Room, Surprisingly to us, our laundry room is the room everyone sees when they first enter our home. For whatever reason, no one ever comes through the front door except formal guests - i.e., cable workers, alarm system installers, etc.!) Because the laundry room is - unfortunately - the first room everyone sees when entering our home, I wanted to make it warm and inviting...and very creative!   • Elegant bathroom, Me and my little brother painted our bathroom as a gift to our mom. Thee bathroom used to be white then we went to home depot and asked for a brick red and we painted the bathroom just the top half and the rest is black and white tile the ceiling is light kaki.I'm open to hear your comments or anything you suggest i should do to the bathroom.   • Finished Basement, My hubby designed and finished our basement himself and he is an IT guy. The only thing he contracted out was the plumbing. Each space is painted a different color to define the spaces. All the pics are rooms in our basement including our teenage son's bedroom. He thinks the whole basement is his domain.   • Our Backyard Make-over, We bought a foreclosed house and the back hill was full of grass and blackberries. Last year we decided the weed patch needed to be a garden. The garden is a dedication to my Grandfather and Grandmother who passed. We planted to attract birds and butterflies and we have been rewarded. Hummingbirds are frequent visitors.
