About This Space

We need help and/or ideas!

We purchased our house 1 year ago and the backyard was a total disaster! Our yard is only 500 sq ft (+-) but we knew it was going to be a choir to clean it up. The yard consisted of overgrown with weeds, black berries and bushes. As we began our attempt to reclaim this area we found that we were in far over our heads. The ground was cement hard and filled with rocks and trash! We rented a rototiller to try to mix up the clay/dirt to bring the rocks and trash to the top. After rototilling we began digging and sifting by hand to try to get all the rocks and trash out. We also built a fence and just had our deck finished. We were so excited to have a blank slate, but now that all the work is done, we don’t know what to do with it. That is where we are left today.... Tired, sore, and losing hope. We are trying to make our space a useable area that we can enjoy with our small dog, family and friends. Any suggestions please help!
