TO DO LIST... Renovate basement by the weekend.
-Monday- Order Norstone 100% natural stacked stone rock panels-CHECK;
-Tuesday- Sweep dirty rotten nasty basement before wife beats me senseless.-CHECK;
-Wednesday- Rock Panels delivered to my door ...great concept-CHECK. -Thursday and Friday-Install 300 sq ft (easy install, no spacers or grout just a 1/2 inch trowel and thinset 1 sq ft at a time-CHECK.
-Saturday- buy some wine and a good cork screw-CHECK;
-Sunday-Pop a cork or two, Relaxxxx and pour my wife a few glasses of wine...She loves me again-CHECK... Basement completed.

The original space was cluttered and poorly designed. The kitchen only measure 8 feet by 7 feet wide. There were cabinets on three of the four walls. The fridge protruded into the space causing a very claustrophobic feel. It was evident, as shown in the "Before" photos that a complete remodel was in order. The new space was designed by Mullings Restoration & Development, who also did the construction.

My kitchen is very very small, had a hard time finding a contractor. Finally after seven years, came across Champion remodeling Inc., due to an emergency, water was leaking from outside into my living room. Well, tested them on small jobs, finally decided to contract them to redo my kitchen. Here are some pictures of what it now looks like, sorry no before pictures.

This gut renovation transformed a dilapidated space to a modern beautiful bathroom. The old cast-iron tub was replaced with a deep soaking, jet tub. The decor features brushed nickel fixtures, a recessed ceramic shelf, and a sleek dark wood pedestal adorned with a vessel sink. The renovation was performed by Mullings Restoration & Development.

Exterior view of our new home on Mason Bluff Court in Wilmington NC on the Intracoastal Waterway. The lower level of the home is done in tabby which is oyster shells embedded in stucco. The top two floors are shake. Built by Jim Wade Homes.

Small kitchen and dining room opened up into a Nice sized kitchen...but the contractor was a fraud and did everything wrong. He had a business card with his name and license number. I confirmed it on the contractors board website. However, his name was that one his card and the license, but he wasn't the same man with that name with the license. They fined him by telling him he can't get a license until he pays us back. He never will.
