We just bought this 1988 3/2 & haven't done much to the exterior yet - the wood siding color will have to stay for now & we just got a new brown roof. I absolutely hate the shutter color & I'm having a hard time coming up with a new color for them & the door to match the green siding. I was told black even though the roof is brown but I'm having a hard time picturing that... Please help!!!

We took alot of time and looked to make the home a warm and comfortable place to just unwind. We love the porch. New windows and siding
My favorite is the red door. That was a must I love red outside its bright and welcoming hope you like the makeover.. designed by Us.. Thanks for the nice comments.We have been having fun finishing up this house. We also picked up a Cabin that we just had fun doing over. Ck that out it's "Our Getaway" Our cabin.

When we talk about blending home and garden this is a perfect example.
Drawing on California's Spanish Colonial architectural heritage, the garden works to enhance the architecture of the home. The plants, common to the Mediterranean, are both colorful and drought tolerant. The use of wrought iron is a tradition directly from the Old World. It is timeless, durable and looks like jewelry.
I've made some updates to our kitchen: We put in some light fixtures to go along with the tropical feel of our home and did a few more updates as well! Since we are a surfing family, I thought I'd add the surfboards to this room as well! The kitchen has a very open layout with the walls opening to the living area.

A French kitchen with a slight modern twist. This room was redone back in 2007 and we still enjoy the renovations. We incorporated a lot of black and white (what we hope to carry to the dining room and added some color by using green paint and green antique plates. The toile tablecloth and small leopard print rug add much needed depth and texture to differ from the granite counter tops.

We love how our daughter's nursery turned out! It's so calm and peaceful -- and even though she's still sleeping in our room at night, I still love to spend most of the day in her room. When planning for a boy or girl, I knew I wanted the "big ticket" items to be of good quality and remain gender neutral - to accommodate our future children. I first found the Bratt Decor crib 50% off! I then picked out the bedding and wall color and everything fell into place after then. I was able to save money by making her mobile, lampshade and bow holder. The dresser was an antique find in my dad's shed, so that = FREE! I hope you enjoy looking through the pictures, and I hope they do the room justice!

Dark chocolate wall which ties the Dining area and Living Rm together. The Fireplace has simple Birch Wood squares. The modern sofa is a bold statement and is accented w/ brown leather chairs & accent chair. Patio doors in the Dining Room have floor to ceiling fabric panels that slide on a rail system.

Although this was a small outdated, dark master bath and has recently undergone a renovation. There were many inspirations, mostly from designers and photo's across the web. We were going for a bright, clean, contemporary look; inspired by a spa-like feel and earthly accent tones.

This is our dining room, we painted the wood floors white and the walls a mustard yellow and left the trim white as well to match the floor. Its a huge room and Im still struggling with it, if kind of feels empty...??
