We had a 8 year old builder's grade master bath that my wife simply hated. We decided to redesign the bath to our tastes and we think it looks great! I've got to admit, the room design suits my contemporary tastes much more than my wife's traditional preferences. Believe it or not, the heated marble floors are my favorite thing about the entire bath.

It took me three months to design my crafts room and office. I looked for versatile storage, that was neat and organized and easily accessible. I wanted the paint to be bold and vibrant, but not annoying. I also created various areas in the room for certain crafts like; scrapbooking, gift wrapping, painting, sewing, and bow making. I love this room and spend hours everyday creating!

Known for my dynamic "S"-curve design, I custom built his and hers vanities that draw you into the room. The dark stripe of tile accentuates the Zebrawood vanities beautifully, and ties in with the tub surround.

Part of my condo renovation still in progress, this dark and dingy bathroom went from two small functional but boring compartments to a striking contemporary space. See my other RMSpaces for rooms I have updated so far.

Our half bath used to have a pedestal sink. We removed it and replaced it with a vanity to give us more storage and counter space. We added Travertine tile to the back wall, a framed mirror and new light fixture.

1970'swallpaper dominated flourescent lighting over the vanity? With only a $300 budget we had to get creative. So we scraped the popcorn & dated wallpaper painted added new light fixtures painted the vanities added new handles trimmed out the mirrors in the same black color used on the vanities few flowers & accessories then finished it off with a blue slightly metallic looking accent wall . Then...well we ran out of money!!!! Oh well you get the idea. small rug not carpet

Small master bathroom makeover in mid century ranch style house. Old bathroom 6'6" x 5'5" was small, dark and claustrophobic with outdated trim and fittings. Closed in shower and linen closet made room feel cramped.
New bathroom increased length by extending 18" into master bedroom increasing length to 8'. Shower and linen closet were replaced with 5' tub with curved sides and curved curtain rod to match. Vanity (frosted glass dooors and black glass top, white vessel sink, faucet and mirror were ordered as a package on line. Medicine cabinet above toilet was made to match the mirror. Light gray ceramic tiles for tub enclosure and larger darker gray ceramic for floor. Dark gray tiles are also echoed in tub trim with black edging to define the trim. Australian glass tile trim of tub also used as window trim, in back of niches and backsplash around sink. I rather like the irregular finish of the backsplash tiled rows at the sink. Solar tube in ceiling to allow in sunlight and brighten the room. Light fixture over mirrors echoes the glass and hinges of the vanity doors. Additional lighting combined with exhaust fan in ceiling. I lucked out in finding matching towels and shower curtain to coordinate with glass tile trim. Walls are a light turquoise green.
This bathroom makes me feel joyous and happy especially when I soak in the very comfy tub.

I went from a traditional 80's floral decor bath of green and pink complete with a red wainscoting below the green flowered wallpaper to a serene black and white Art Deco theme based on a $20 light I purchased from eBay!
