  • Calm living, This is the living room in my old house. I first bought the blue piece of furniture and decorated the room around it. I know it needed more accessories, and a great picture over the fireplace, but I moved before I could finish., Living Rooms Design

  • Pretty in Pink, This is my daughters' bedroom. They insisted on pink, but let me add a bit of green. This was an addition onto an existing room, but seemed too big, so I added the curtains to make it cosier., Girls' Rooms Design

  • Shabby Chic/Victorian Guestroom Make-over, This used to be my "funky guestroom". I decided to go with Shabby Chic with a victorian twist. I kept the iron bed, pantry doors but changed everything else. The chest was in another room so I painted it creme/peach accents and added glass knobs. I bought the table with the vanity mirror on craigslist and painted both to match. The ottoman was slipcovered to match the settee (that I also covered). The settee is covered in vintage fabric I've had for years...it has boston terriers and fox terriers. Some items are family heirlooms, baby shoes, lace up shoes, the white lace coverlet and more. The vintage lace curtains came from ebay. The glass hobnail mirror is from a thrift store. My Heubach collection is right at home here!, Bedrooms Design

  • Shabby Chic Guest Bedroom, The walls are a wonderful blue so the contrast with shabby white is outstanding. The carved wood panels from Bali were originally doors to a kitchen which I had painted off white and hung as the headboard., Bedrooms Design

  • Tanner's Big Sister Bedroom, With a Brother soon to be here my granddaughter wanted a big sister room. Damask, stripes, polka dots & rhinestones were the inspiration for this bedroom. I painted two shades of pink stripes on the wall one color satin finish and the other in a gloss finish. I created a scalloped border around the room with a circular sponge and filled the space in with polka dots. I used fabric patterns of black& white stripes, Black & white damask and black &white polka dots to create all the curtains and to add accents to the damask comforter. I created window cornices for the double window and one for a beautiful background for her bed. I created a vanity out of an end table with an adorable mini chandelier to accent the area. I also created a matching doll bed for her dolls which was the perfect finish for an Amazing Big Sister Bedroom., Girls' Rooms Design

  • cute and relaxing bathroom, The bathroom in our rented house was nice but lacking of character. I am trying to give it a relaxing and sweet feel with my scandinavian and french inspired taste.
