  • cute and relaxing bathroom, The bathroom in our rented house was nice but lacking of character. I am trying to give it a relaxing and sweet feel with my scandinavian and french inspired taste. • Winter Shabby White slipcovered cottage chic, Updated one of my living rooms. The chill is in the air and I no longer wanted to see big roses. It's shabby yet chic with lots of black and white. I took away all the garden items that were pink. Repainted a cupboard from pink to white and am enjoying it's new look for a cooler season. **I just went back in to preview these photos are dark will update with better photos. thanks for looking.I love pretty things and unique things no matter where I find it curb, gar. sale, shop may sometimes get to be too much eye candy but it makes me smile and i like that. The toile looks busier in the pic than it looks in person...funny?..I think the real point is to get ideas and be inspired as i enjoy getting ideas from all of you. , Living Rooms Design

  • Shabby Chic/Victorian Guestroom Make-over, This used to be my "funky guestroom". I decided to go with Shabby Chic with a victorian twist. I kept the iron bed, pantry doors but changed everything else. The chest was in another room so I painted it creme/peach accents and added glass knobs. I bought the table with the vanity mirror on craigslist and painted both to match. The ottoman was slipcovered to match the settee (that I also covered). The settee is covered in vintage fabric I've had for has boston terriers and fox terriers. Some items are family heirlooms, baby shoes, lace up shoes, the white lace coverlet and more. The vintage lace curtains came from ebay. The glass hobnail mirror is from a thrift store. My Heubach collection is right at home here!, Bedrooms Design

  • Beach Cottage Chic - No Kitsch Allowed!, I created a sanctuary for myself up on one of the Great Lakes. I live in LA so having a serene environment to escape to was the source of my design inspiration. White slipcovers are machine washable and keep the mood light. My color scheme was inspired by the view outside my windows - the lake the beach and the sky. , Living Rooms Design

  • Courtneys space, A couple of weeks ago, my borfriend's 9 year old daughter came to live with us.  We were not prepared for her.  So I took things from around the house and created her space.  One side of the room is carpeted, the other is painted with pink and white harlequin pattern.  I think she will be very happy here., Girls' Rooms Design
