I'm not sure where the fringe stencil came from, I've had it forever. I bet Hobby Lobby probably has that & the heart stencil too. Thanks for commenting on the rug !!!!

I love the idea! I'm going to do it on my front porch,but I can't find fringe stencils. Where did you get them and the heart stencils?

I was just thinking it would be a great idea to paint rugs all around the house after you stain the floor but before you seal it and here you've gone and done it already! I think it would work well for people with kids. I have to teach every new kid that comes to my house not to walk on rugs with shoes. It's also great for under a frequently used dining table, so you don't have to vacuum after every meal. Excellent!

Oh yea I almost forgot !! The date is right on the pic, just as soon as I finished a big hail storm blew in..I couldn't believe my eyes it was June 4th..lol

Thanks everybody !! I did use a stencil for the fringe it made it so much easier. It took a little while to tape everything..I didn't measure anything just looked at my porch and placed where I wanted it to be. It is well worth trying & seeing what you can come up with..it's just paint if you don't like the way it turns out you just paint over it..lol
