Have wanted to post pics of the lake cottage porch since last fall...Well a four month break working on it prevented such....Well we are back on it and I just wanted to post these photo's even if it isn't quite done yet....More photo's to come that hopefully will show the space better than what I done at this moment....

I love your taste it's fabulous. This porch is just a wee bit cluttered. i.e., this table. If someone wanted a snack or a place to put down a drink they would not have room. I wish I had your talent to imagine how something will look before I even start it. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. So sorry you are not well, wishing you all the best.

I have a lake cabin too. Now it's my full-time home since I retired and I want to really use my porch. These pics are fabulous. It reeks country charm everywhere. I so love it. Thanks for sharing.

I took your suggestion on the curtains for our bedroom, reaarranged and hope you think it is an improvement. I love it but am open to suggestion. Still have the TV-DRAT!

Hi there.. I was just reading about your heart disease and all the other issues... I'm thinking nothing but good thoughts.. and saying lots of prayers for you..We have the same thing going on here with dh.. and it has made for a very stressful summer..along with other everyday life stuff.. This past week is was a burst water pipe in the master bath..dh is out of town and I'm dealing with an adjuster that has had the personality of a bent fence post..and then today he was just super...so go figure..there is more damage found daily...amazing what water can do..Thanks so much for swinging by the front porch..hope you grabbed a muffin..is that on your diet..can you have those type of things?? thinking about you...hugs ~lynne~

Oh Ken I know all about "self-employed"! Anytime we talked to someone about a loan it was" Oh you have excellent credit but you are self'employed" as if having a paystub from an employer (who was probably self-employed was somehow better??????????? I do hope you enjoy your company and don't fret over all the details- they are there to see you-(I'm preaching to the choir here!!! Would love to see what you have done- after your guests leave of course! : mary
