My client was unhappy with the pool that they inherited in this backyard when they purchased the property. Our solution was to wipe the slate clean, and start over. What I developed for them was a very clean, stream-lined appearance to the pool area with Leuder Limestone coping, and a sawcut, colored concrete decking that perfectly matches the appearance of the stone. The yard is very long and narrow, so rather than having a typical fence that follows the property lines, I incorporated a curved stucco wall in the back corner, and painted it a vibrant green, in order to draw the energy back into the space. A preserved bamboo sculpture, and 14' long arc of fire grace this curved wall and create fantastic shadow movement in the evening light.
