About This Space

This project started out with a giant wooden spool. We poured the patio with a hole in it (for the table--the hole included a drain for rain and power for lights and a blender) then we dropped in the spool and covered it with travertine tiles that we broke and ground down to smooth the edges. The accents are granite. How much did it cost? About $300. Most of the travertine was scrap (amazing what you can find when you go dumpster diving).
