I can't believe that in as little as 6-8 weeks we could have SNOW in this yard located at the base of the Wasatch mountains. My flowers look so beautiful that I just can't bear to think of it right now. ENJOY!

It is fantastic. The only think I woudl consider is making the center piece lighting as you enter mch larger. It is a formidable entrance and grand. The one hanging fixture feels a bit small. I think to continue the drama you could go much larger or a color perhaps.

I don't think I'd call it Tuscan but it's an interesting blend of arts and crafts French and post-and-beam. I am a stickler for cohesive fenestration so I would prefer not to have so many styles and colors of windows and trim. If you painted the door and sidelights and lower left window to match the arched window and smaller one it would look more a unified design.

Back yard and Wasatch Mountains 2008, The first photo was taken by my daughter with a better cameraand 3 weeks later than the rest of the photos were taken. 3 weeks and those fall leaves really make a difference in color. Greenhouse goes to SLEEP for WINTER, Soon this will be my winter sanctuary. I have put all the flowers from my yard that will spend the winter in my greenhouse. Wasatch backyard in winter, This is what my backyard looks like in the middle of January and a winter storm in comparison to what it looked like this past fall. I LOVE my greenhouse and yes those are geraniums blooming out there surrounded by snow. We got about 16 inches today. It is a little expensive to keep the greenhouse at a minumum of 59 degrees. I love to trek out there though. It is my winter respite from the cold and allows me to hope for spring. ENJOY!, Yards Design

Dining room dressed for FALL, I love simplicity clean lines and traditional. Look at my other spaces to see my kitchen that this dining area is attached to. I wish I could show you the view of the beautiful Wasatch Mtns. but a photo doesn't work. The dining room table is about 15 yrs. old. Old boys home, This is an old orphanage built in the '50's pretty much empty since the '80's. We sign the contract for it this saturday and plan to foster children.
