Omg, i think you're my design twin! lol I've been thinking the same thing, especially cause i did that painting especially for my room and well I just don't wanna take it down. haha. I think I just might be doing that. I wish i could move my room to rearrange furniture (unfortunately can't due to layout. blue so happens to be one of my three fav colors : thanks for the great advice, once I get the room done I'll def let you see <3 Oh and also if you have anymore ideas that just randomly pop up, please feel free to let me know.

It's kind of hard to tell since there aren't many lights on. Try to look at the big picture when decorating this room. You have a lot of neutral colors, with the white moldings and the cream walls. Bring the colors from your bright painting into the room. The orange and blue would look great in lamp shades, bed throw, other wall art. Find at second hand shops, Salvation Army, thrift stores. As you have seen, paint does wonders, and it's one of the cheapest decor items! Paint some of your accessories in those same oranges and blues from your painting for a united look. Make sure to keep your dark items as well. It's a good idea to have a balance of light and dark items and well as bright ones. If you take a picture of your room, a photo shop can make it into a black and white picture and you'll see how the light and dark items play against each other. Can't wait to see the result!
