My mom found these old chairs at a nursing home that was going out of business for $2.00 apiece. Since I just moved into a new condo she gave them to me (8 chairs for 16.00. I always intended to recover them but never had the time until I was laid off from work. I removed the sets and started removing the material from the backs and discover a perfect little wooden rail back. I decided to just strip the old vanish and paint. Then I recoved the seat and this is the best 16.00 my mom ever spent. So far I have finished 4. One is in silver and while and 3 in black with a black and white printed seat.
