Of course, our mini-mudroom doesn't always look so lovely. Right now, it's the middle of winter in SW Ohio. However, we still have plenty of room in this small space for what we need on a daily basis. Our shoes go in the baskets under the bench...even when wet. They can't hurt the polyurethaned bench. Coats and backpacks are hung on the hooks while snowsuits and my husband's larger coat hangs up in the corner on hangers. The basket above the wire rack in the corner holds gloves, scarves and hats. Our huge diaper bag just sits on the floor directly beneath the wire rack in the corner. We have a system worked out and everything has it's place!

I love this idea, but what do you do w/ all the snow pants, boots, bulky coats, etc? We are in NW Ohio, and this time of year is when my hall closet gets very full!

What a great idea! I just love your cute bench & pillows. And the photo that spells your last name is just too cool. I had to laugh about the person who commented on hating all of the "mispelled" words. I believe that she meant to say "misspelled" ha, ha!!

The artwork was handcrafted by my sister-in-law. It spells out our last name "Miller" in black and white photographs taken in Cincinnati.

This is just genius! And so well done. Not your fault, but if I read one more mispelled word on this site ("steel" instead of "steal" I think I'll scream all the way to Canada. I've read 5 mispelled words in the past 15 minutes on RMS- do we really have this many uneducated people in this country? ANYWAY, you've found a brilliant way to overcome a problem and turn it into a positive. 5 stars!!
