When we found out we were expecting our first baby, my mind immediately went to work planning the nursery. After finding out we would be having a boy, I wanted to create a space that was "all boy." Since his daddy enjoys the outdoors, I decided to bring the outdoors in and create "The Little Man Cave" (as named by my husband. Antlers are very masculine, but when they are spray painted white, it creates a "softer" baby appropriate affect. The antlers were provided by my husband's father and the plaques were hand crafted by my father. I love that the whole family was involved with the nursery! I also knew that I wanted a gray and yellow color scheme, and since I couldn't find a bedroom set that I liked, I decided to try my hand at sewing my own. I think the quilt, bed skirt, and sheets turned out cute! :
A nursery fit for a
Little Princess!
