Dr. Seuss nursery that uses Pottery Barn Kids Dr. Seuss bedding. Primary colors are used in a muted tone - red, yellow, blue and green. Cat in the Hat, Thing 1, Put me in the Zoo and Oh the Places you will go were the books to inspire this room.

I absolutely despise primary colors, but this room is awesome! I love Dr. Seuss - what a character. The wall treatment is great. I'm sure it's a very stimulating room for your child. Nice job!

Thanks for all of the great feedback. I had an artist come and paint the walls. The entire purpose for the chair rail was to break up the stripe/zigzag pattern from the murals. I didn't want the walls to look too busy. So, we painted them a fairly neutral color. I think that some people take it too far when they choose a bright color for the backdrop. I let the wall color compliment the artwork, not overpower it. I think the closet with the bright blue is a fun and unexpected "pop". Almost everything you see is from Pottery Barn Kids. I love that store!
