Our little girls room has brown damask wallpaper, picture frame moulding, crown moulding and a pink ceiling. The picture frame moulding has pink inside as well. The damask and polka dot bedding is from Serena & Lily. We used our sons nursery furniture but painted it white.

So ALL the bedding is from Serena an Lilly. I was not a fan myself of the crib skirt but super love it once it's in place.

Wow. This room is flawless. You did a great job offsetting the dark wallpaper with the wainscotting. And just the right amount of pink. Fabulous and a great balance of colors. 5 stars

If imitation is the purest form of flattery, then I'm about to flatter you! :- My husband and I are starting on our nursery tomorrow after studying you beautiful room. One question: how do you think a glossy brown paint would look? I'm not sure we have time to order wallpaper, at this point in my pregnancy. Any suggestions? Also, is there pink in the molding? Thanks for inspiring me!!!

MissMooch: I agree with your two suggestions; however we hardly use our AC and opted for a ceiling fan in the middle of the room. I hope to have enough money to put a dark wood floor in her room with a rug...but that's a year away.

***** love this room ***** Very sophisticated, warm and inviting! You did an amazing job! I'm in the process of going from the crib to a daybed and like you kept my daughters space sophisticated with cream, pale pink & green. Now going to the big girl bed is a snap, found the beautiful bedding and everything else was already done.

Chandelier made the room pop and as you show it's not the typical theme (characters that you and your child tire of easily. Would love to see in the future the transition from crib to bed.
