The inspiration for this room came from a Target shower curtain. I liked the curtain so much I bought 2 to hang in the guest room as curtains. When we found out we were pregnant I thought it would be a perfect theme for the room. It has whimsical trees and owls on it. It could be gender neutral, but turned out to be a great boys room. I pulled all the colors from the curtains. Grandma also added a border to make them longer and wider for the giant window. We used 3 curtains for the window and then 2 more for the closet. We took the doors off to put a dresser and changing pad in the closet. The room also has to serve as a guest room, so we needed to save space. We have a daybed in the room for guests and plenty of room in the closet and dresser for storage. Grandma also recovered the glider in a wonderful green color to match. Everything came together wonderfully.
A nursery fit for a
Little Princess!
