Very very cute........green and pink are just soooooooo pretty together.......both my grandkids rooms are these colors........so easy to get accessories.......smiles

Congrats!!! The room is great and I like that you thought ahead and can change it all out if a boy comes your way!!!

For a boy the bedding gets changed out to the blue Amy coe aminal soup bedding which also has the green of the wall in. The flowers on the toy box change out to puppy dogs the dress up pegs change to a duck and dog and sports stuff hangs up there the little flower table (which is attached to the wall for support is changed out for a different table. The bugs on the mobile snap off and Dogs go up the puple rug gets changed out for blue and the girly suff on the walls gets changed out for boy stuff

I must say I don't see how this room could be changed easily for a boy. If you do end up with a boy adding other bugs would be cute and getting rid of all the pink. I like the curtain you made to cover the closet area. I agree the white needs some color. For one of my childrens rooms I did green on the bottom like you have and blue on top for the sky.Also the furniture placement seems to be kind of a hazard issue coming from a mother of three. Try placing the crib along the center wall instead of up against the corner next to the window. Also the little toy box at the end would make a good climbing toy for toddlers and the little flower table looks like it would easily fall on top of a baby/toddler just some thoughts.

i left the wall white on top because we are "being prepared for anything" We requested a little girl but if they come to us with a little boy i will not say No so the whole nursery can be changed for a boy in less then an hour. I am currently looking for bright colorful things to hang on the wall there i just haven't found that special something yet. so any ideas and suggestions are welcome. Thanks to all :

I looked at all your pictures and you can tell you put a lot of heart into this room. You really did a good job! The only thing I'd change is the white wall above the chair rail matching colors would be tan light pink or even a very pale green. I grew up with white walls in every room so I try to warm things up a bit. But the white still looks good! 5*'s

Congrats on your new addition! DH and i have been looking into it as well. Your patience inspires me. As does this room! The green is a little intense for me but i love all the little flowers and butterflies that YOU did. and the curtain fabric is really sweet. Can you add pictures of the rest of the room not so close up? Big individual letters are oh-so-popular right now. And once you meet her you'll have more than enough personal photos but not enough wall space!

Congratulations and I hope all will go smooth with the adoption. Love the butterflies! I like the green just not sure about the light white color above it it feels like it needs either more color or something to decorate that area.
