We love how our daughter's nursery turned out! It's so calm and peaceful -- and even though she's still sleeping in our room at night, I still love to spend most of the day in her room. When planning for a boy or girl, I knew I wanted the "big ticket" items to be of good quality and remain gender neutral - to accommodate our future children. I first found the Bratt Decor crib 50% off! I then picked out the bedding and wall color and everything fell into place after then. I was able to save money by making her mobile, lampshade and bow holder. The dresser was an antique find in my dad's shed, so that = FREE! I hope you enjoy looking through the pictures, and I hope they do the room justice!

@Vintagevalentine, The color is Sherwin Williams "Romance". And I've actually considered sepia/vintage prints for that wall! Still deciding. :

Love the color. What brand and name is the color you used on the walls? Very good job! Oh so Sweet. Perhaps some sepia prints of baby for the wll by the chair? You know, the old stand naked baby bum pictures, I have embaressed my daughter with those more than once! LOL
I bet she is as darling as the room is!

@mbodkin7, the crib bumpers and skirt were ordered from 'Cottage and Cabin Interiors' on Etsy. The crib sheet is from Babies R Us, but I believe the print may be discontinued. I recently saw a crib sheet at Pottery Barn that is almost the same though. :

Others, thank you for your kind words. I put a lot of work into her nursery and I'm glad that others like it too. @bijouxbisoux, I wanted to put something above the chair but never found anything that stood up to par. The piece you painted sounds beautiful!

5 Stars! Her nursery is so pretty! I love PINK! That is the color that I painted Gracie's nursery and her bedroom now is pink stripes. I made two ruffled lamp shades like yours for her room. I saw it on "Dear Lilly blog. Her nursery looks like yours. I thought the ruffled lamp shades were adorable. I love Lily Kate's bedding and her crib. Little girls are so much fun!

Oh wow! My thought and comment is similar to BarbaraBee's below. I normally don't check out the nurseries too often. Most are either knock-off Pottery Barn or over-the-top-too-fru-fru for my taste. This does not fall into either of those categories (Yeah!. It is absolutely beautiful! Colors and everything. There is one area near the chair that, oh my goodness, I would love make a painting for that wall! About two years ago I painted a piece for a French furniture boutique in a mall in Fort Lauderdale. It would have been perfect for your space. It was titled "Just a girl" and was made on canvas with acrylic paints. I painted miniature falling flowers in pastel colors. In the painting, I wrote the phrase "Just a girl". My husband is from France and after I painted it, he told me I should have written the phrase in French "juste une fille" . Anyhow, you get 5 stars for the space and another 5 stars for the lovely name of your daughter. Great taste!

I don't ever look in the nursery section, but this caught my eye on the main page and I'm so glad I visited. It's one of the most beautiful and charming rooms I've ever seen. I love it and am saving to favorites. Super pretty. Love you didn't paint the dresser, which adds so much original charm. Love the woven toy chest, which adds organic texture. The pale pink pig a touch of whimsy, the lampshade SO cute. You should be a nursery designer. Seriously. 5 stars because I couldn't give you 10. wink.
