  • Nolan's Room - Scandinavian Mod, I designed this room for my two year old, Nolan. I was aiming for Scandinavian Mod, and I wanted to create a reading nook for him since he loves books. The rug and bed are from IKEA. I found the dresser on Craig's List and added the shelves. I couldn't quite find the artwork I was looking for, so I designed a few of my own pieces. The string art and "D is for Dog" are the results. I love Vignelli's motto, "If you can't find it, design it.", Boys' Rooms Design

  • Asher's Lumberjack Inspired Nursery , Since we are military and live in base housing, I wanted a room that was easy to pack up and move to our next home, and something that would also grow with my little guy. I was inspired by a Paul Bunyan book which you can see framed in the room. I wanted something vintage but yet modern at the same time.   • My wife's soon to be art studio, It's a work in progress but we painted the tree together and then I created this little thinking nook if you will and built a small case in the corner, took the electrical from an old lamp and got a spot light bulb to shine up the tree.   • Studio Apartment Foyer refresh, Here is a studio apartment foyer which is larger than most foyers found in larger apartments. The wall to the right is all closet space. The bathroom is just behind the far end wall, therefore I use this space as my dressing room as well. For the past ten years the floors were covered with sea grass rugs and it was time for a refresh. I choose these bold black and Ivory chevron runners and it just made the space POP. I also ran the same runner down the stairs to the main living area below., Other Spaces Design

  • Manhattan Studio Apartment, This space is a total of just under 500 sq. feet. We managed to squeeze in a dining area, a boudoir and a home office space. My husband and I were on a tight budget so needed to use hand-me-downs and thrift shop items. Many of the pieces came from his parents' travels or are left-over pieces from passed relatives. We originally wanted to make the bed private but once we relinquished such idea it allowed the apartment to become a more functional, manageable space.
