  • mod pod, this room was designed for my twin boys. I wanted them to have a bright space that encourages them to read, and do their homework, as well as create artwork, and play games. I defined the workspace area with blue walls, and tried to use decorative accents to add overall color, rather than using color on all the walls.   • Colorful Studio Apartment Home Office, I live in a large studio apartment in Boston. One side is the living room and kitchen and the other side I use as a home office and art studio. Since the apartment is one big open area, I pulled the bright purples and greens as well as punches of black and white from the other half of the apartment.   • A 3 year old's sophisticated space, Newly adopted and home from Russia only 3 months we wanted our lovely little girl's room to be a special place. We aimed for a sophisticated modern room the focal point being the mod (yet organic) tree that my husband painted. We painted a few little birds above the wainscoting as well. The leopard print carpet tied the whole room together nicely. The highlight of the room is the custom made white patent leather headboard IMO. Our new daughter is in LOVE with her room! Update: Now 6 years old, we're in the process of creating a whole new room for our little luv. During a huge remodel of our house, this room was razed to make room for an addition.
