this is a great space. the floors and the stone wall are beautiful! have you considered switching the placement of the sofa and the chairs? it might make a more comfy tv viewing space, and would also open up the space abit. the valances are pretty, but try adding 4 straight hanging panels to the windows to help soften the entire space. also, the papasan chair is quite out of place in this adult space....i'd move it elsewhere and replace it with an upholstered arm chair instead. keep us posted. :
