• Our New Family Room, I posted this remodel as a new room so you could see the difference between the new and old family room (posted as "Old Family Room" under my other spaces). We installed a new linear gas fireplace and panelled the walls. We also re-did the ceiling and installed pot lights and larger crown. We removed the california shutters because I found they darkened the room. I love the outcome !! So much easier to just push a button for a fire. A few new accessories and voila !!!!, Living Rooms Design

 • repost of wide open living space, We moved about six months ago to NC, used what I had to decorate this wide open floor plan, only thing I had to buy was the barstools (big lots- great deal!). Entry, living room, dining room and kithcen all open, all back windows face a small lake and all double doors lead to large screened in porch. Advice and comments would be appreciated, Living Rooms Design

 • Coastal Cottage Family Room on a budget, Our previous family room was dark and traditional and we wanted a light and airy space that was cozy and comfy for watching TV as well as a space for my sewing stuff. We also needed a small mudroom space near the door for kids shoes and coats. • Studio - Tiny Space, Big Ideas (Before and After), This 483 square foot condo was a complete renovation and was a 100% DIY. Being a studio, space was obviously an issue. By using versatile furniture selections and coming up with sneaky storage solutions we were able to come up with a space that is both comfortable and inviting.

This was my first and only flip I've done since graduating with a degree in interior design. I plan on getting into the flipping business when the market turns back around. In the meantime I work as a full time interior designer at a boutique frim in NJ. I'm also interested in side projects, so if you're interested please contact me.
www.idstudio3.com
info@idstudio3.com

 • Living Room, In my 1930's home, I've tried hard to integrate my modern taste with some of the traditional elements, such as the moldings and archways. In my living room, I used a sort of greige-ish hue to accent my red couch and chair. My coffee table is from my grandmother's farmhouse - freshened up with a coat of glossy black paint on the base. My favorite piece is my linen and nailhead chest of drawers, which adds the perfect amount of pattern and texture to the room., Living Rooms Design

 • Old meets New Great Room, This was my third and final try to complete this great room. Our sectional was moved to our newly completed basement, so I had a chance to start over. The bench/daybed is actually Candace Olson. The rug was from Restoration Hardware. The table is Thomasville, and the couch is from Leather Creations. The lamp beside the couch is from Restoration Hardware and the lamp behind the chair in the far corner is Pottery Barn. The linen and leather pillows on the couch and chair are Restoration Hardware. I was going for a "Restoration Hardware meets Candace Olson" kind of look. Please let me know what you think!
***My paint colors are Sherwin Williams: the two adjacent walls facing each other is "gray area" and the wall surrounding the fireplace is "Spaulding gray". , Living Rooms Design

 • Open Living/Dining Room/Den and Kitchen, This condo is in an historic 1902 publishing company's old offices. (The historic Lippincott Publishing Company)

We essentially bought a white empty box of 1900 sq ft and had to do everything from scratch -- including bring up the plumbing and electric. We worked with an architect to design the space, but much of it was our own design and ideas.

Did all of the decorating myself. And while proud of it, would appreciate some thoughts, help, ideas on how to improve it. I enjoy decorating and design - but its just a fun hobby., Living Rooms Design
