It's free and easy.
We have always gravitated towards traditional or even transitional style but with the addition of two children we feel it is time to look at building out at our ranch.
We are looking at something with a bit more contemporary but don't know how that will relate to our current furniture that we have collected over the years.
Here is the real dilemma, we bought this house in 1993 and it was around 1400 square feet, simple two bedrooms and two bath house with a very tiny kitchen. We remodeled it in 2001, adding another 2000 square feet which included a new 52' great room, that houses the living area, dining and sitting area. Powder bath room as well, enlarged and gutted the kitchen and added a pantry as well as a utility room for storage.
Downstairs we added a 600 bottle wine cellar and study and two car garage. The problem here is that we never remodeled the existing bathrooms. We did one 2 years ago and that was really expensive even with us doing all the flooring and plumbing. We never remodeled the master bath and now that we have a boy and a girl the two bedroom thing isn't going to work for much longer. We are a bit cash poor and would really like to make an impact in the master bath but don't know how without outlaying a ton of $$$. It is our intention to list our home next January and build on our ranch property. Our home is very nice but when it comes to the master bath, it really sucks. And when people see the house they expect a really nice MB situation and it just doesn't cut the butter for the $$$ we will be asking for the home. I don't have a current pic to post but as soon as I do I will post it for all to see:-(
