About This Space

This area is finished for a while. I toyed with the idea of all white and cream furnishings, and whole new style. Since I have two grandkids, and one possible in the works, I've decided that chocolate brown feels more forgiving and less stressful to live with. I think this is it for a while aside from a couple of art prints that I'm waiting for to arrive in the mail.

I am still working on my coastal/nautical living room. Did not want to go all white, had beige walls so I painted 20" horizontal stripes ( added white to my beige paint = 50/50 sometimes during the daylight you don't see the stripes, but at night it shows. You went for it and glad for you, Great job!

It is funny how we all want color, yet you are right it is so hard to change decor on a whim. I too am thinking of just going through and doing white. I have much decor stored away that is useless with my golden walls. Your room looks fresh and comfy too. Good job!

I do have left over fabric, and I was planning on doing a dining table runner and a couple of pillows...a little worried about being to matchy. I had to visit two Joann Fabric stores to get enough fabric for all the windows in this area, and now they don't have anymore fabrics left in this line, glad I have left overs from the drapes. I also used co-ordinating fabric for the pillows, I thave three more to sew.

Very pretty and I love your drapes! I just had to buy 2 sets of panels for one wide window like yours to achieve the width I wanted because I don't sew... :(
