the placement of the hall table and mirror is not right....i like the current wall color, just add some color in drapes and pillows, vases etc.

Take the lighted branches and the red vase from the fireplace and put them on the top of the table (offset them to the left side You could also move the 2 tall pillars next to the table and take the lantern under the table and put on the fireplace mantle. When you do this use the lantern to help hold the mirror so it is reflecting something other than the ceiling fan,( cutting down to 3 things on the mantel will make it look more open and not so cluttered Hope this helps and feel free to comment on my Beige living room space I just posted.

Cool chair! If I was you, I would paint the walls a medium gray. Then I would accent with hints of tourqoise or Tiffany blue. Such as that pillow on the chair. Id keep the pictures, but put them all in black frames. And add an area rug!

A large pretty floral arrangment would be nice. If you take one of those green ivy silk floral plants and then go to the dollar store and purchase a few flowery picks, you can add them into the green ivy and looks pretty professional.
