This trunk belonged to my much beloved father in law. He served in world war 2. This is his footlocker. Restoration hardware has one very similar but theirs cost 1400 dollars. This one was done for the cost of silver and gold leaf paint. I am very happy with how it turned out. Thanks Restoration hardware for the inspiration!
