About This Space

I needed a creative way to add a Christmas tree to my home which has a few mid-century modern inspired pieces. So, I brought the outdoos in.

I would find a coffee table, or alternative like an ottoman, and switch the art (large piece on the open wall and the collage over the sofa and you'll be good to go!

I love mid century modern and you have some really nice pieces here. The tree stand could use a skirt, which could be a crumpled up twin white sheet or a sheet of fake cotton snow bought at a local drugstore for cheap. Also, you should consider a coffee table to ground your living room seating area. Lastly, the artwork, which I love from IKEA, is much too large a scale for this wall/sofa, but might work once the tree is put away - you can angle the sofa slightly in that corner area and away from the wall so the bottom of the art, or most of it, can be seen. I do love the art gallery on the other wall.
