About This Space

I wanted a traditional look for my 1915 home, but with new fabrics, minimal window treatments, subtle tones and lots of texture. I started with a traditional Turkish Oushaks rug in grey, blue and taupe and went from there. See last photos for the before.

I really love all of your choices, it is a stunning transformation! The only thing that jumped at me is the fact that the present seating arrangement makes this room look like a mere pass through into the {more important} dining room. And it woud be difficult to enjoy the lovely fireplace from the armchairs. Just curious, if you spinned the whole seating arrangement 90 degrees to the right and centered the mirrored chest on the window? Just a thought, enjoy the fruits of your labor!!!

The pillows on the couch are Create & Barrel and the with the exception of the white fluffy pillow (West Elm, the velvet pillows came with the settee from Horchows. Hope that helps and thanks for your kind words!
