With a television set blasting from every room I wanted this room to be easy and relaxing. We generally sit here to read a book or listen to music (preferably jazz or just for a quiet conversation. During the day there's plenty of sunlight and it makes the room vibrant because the wall colors appear brighter than they are; but after sunset the reds, yellows, golds and browns become softer. This is my favorite room in the house.
