I'm sure you hate to cover up those beautiful new floors, but an area rug would really warm up the room. You also have too many accessories lined up on the mantel. I would hang those metal pieces on a wall, put the two candlesticks together with a book under one to give it a different height and put one of those vases on the other side. Put that little ottomon on the end of your couch to set things on and hang long drapes.

I think you have too much crammed into that corner...remove the red vases and the cube, does the computer need to stay in this room? Also an area rug would be great to anchor the room.
