Some of you enjoyed my Sharpie Art projects, so I thought I would share this crazy idea I had. To give the art work a 3-D effect I used a hot glue gun to give it dimension and interest. I then painted the background using watered down paint with a circular paint dobber. I went over the whole area, including the glue, but in the center for the gingko leaves I dipped the dobber in extra water to make it lighter. I then used a Marks-a-Lot marker over the hot glue areas. I found these markers work better than the Sharpies, as they leave a shinier finish. The end product almost looks like glass! Something out of the ordinary and unique. It's a super inexpensive project. Think outside of the box and give it try!
