I agree with trinigirl72, I think a nice tall plant, and if you need light in that corner, I've seen small up-lights that you can sit on the floor and give a nice, warm glow.

Good idea, but get informed about lighting before you buy. Lighting specifically for art may not be enough or the right kind of lighting for the room. There are different types of lighting. See help in link below.

Thanks! These comments really help. I like the idea of a tall bookcase maybe with a small lamp on it to offset the lighting, or even sconces. I wonder if I put some art on both sides of the TV cabinet with lighting above them if that would do the trick!

It needs a lamp in that spot! See how uneven the lighting looks. You have all the light in the other corner. Balance it out. Another option is adding a tall narrow corner bookcase in addition to a lamp. If you don't want to use floor space for lighting, get a sconce on either side of the fireplace or tv.
