We just remodeled our existing fireplace. We had the standard builders white molding and white mantel. You can only see so much white. It was also cold looking and boring. We needed flair and wanted something different from all of our friends. We decided on doing a stone fireplace with an arch. We added the same tile that is in the master bath and kitchen to help pull that throughout our home. We love, love love our cozy living room and fireplace now.
