  • The Yellow House Old Kitchen, This is our little kitchen. We eventually would like to switch the kitchen and dining rooms. Until we have the funds for that we are trying to make this kitchen more comfortable for us on a budget. In the near future we plan on putting in a permanent island taking up the floor and hopefully refinishing the wood floors underneath and putting in a new sink and faucet. I'll put the Before pictures at the end so you can see what we started with. :), Kitchens Design

  • Our New Modern Kitchen, We just got moved into our house and this is our new modern kitchen. We have them finish the oak cabinets in a dark brown stain/paint and high gloss but not too much where you can't see the beautiful grain. We picked out 1x2 glass backsplash tiles. Not sure what exactly to do with our winows or center island. Let me know if you have any suggestions. :), Kitchens Design

  • Country Kitchen & Breakfast Nook (New Paint & Changes), I finally have repainted my kitchen. It is in a light chocolate brown. On my monitor it appears lighter than it really is slightly darker in person. I think the darker brown looks much better aganist the light cabinets. To see B4 kitchen click on my other spaces. I have also changed some things & cleared some things out. The Breakfast nook has less things on wall. I have added a breadboard burner cover on stove. I Love it. Purchased from fallcreekprimitives on ebay. , Kitchens Design

  • Painted and Glazed Cabinets .. How to Step by Step, If you love painted cabinets with that "Old World" feel see how I achieved the look in my kitchen. I can't however take all of the credit for this remodel. Without my sister-in-law I could not have achieved all of this in 1 week. Thank You could never convey how grateful I am for her help and how much fun I had with her that week. Take a look I have tried to break it down day by day I hope this will inspire you to try this on your own. If you don't have a sister-in-law I rent mine., Kitchens Design

  • Kitchen...finally finished!, This is a re-post of my kitchen with all the crown molding done. My very talented husband installed all of it!
We were the GCs on our new home, built about 18 months ago. We did all the interior framing, the electrical, and all the finish work. It was crazy but so worth it!
Incidentally, I have tried deleting some of these photos since there are SOOO many but the system says they've been deleted and they're still there! Sorry, guys, not intentional. :-/, Kitchens Design
