This is one of the most beautiful kitchens I have ever seen!

WOW!!!!! I can not find one thing I do not love about this kitchen....well except that it's not mine. I think you did a great job. Perfect.

All the colors, textures and patterns balance out beautifully. My favorite is the band of tiles running along the inside of what I presume is a skylight. Grand, authentic and inviting.

The sink is copper and has a beautiful floral pattern on it. The tile finish is a process we've developed with saltillo to make it look reclaimed or really old. If your saltillo has already been sealed with something, this process won't work, but if it's new, you can get this result. Do you put anything on your tile to make it so shiny? I have mexican tile, and would love for it to look like that!

This has to be one of the most gorgeous kitchens I've ever seen. I absolutely LOVE the color of your island and the hutch, they give it the perfect touch. Satillo and Talavera tiles ooze authenticity and the rustic cabinetry is awesome. I wish I had a better look at your apron sink. From here it looks like the finish is pewter but I may be mistaken. Overall I give it a BIG FAT FIVE !!

I've lurked on this website for sometime and after seeing Lawrence's comments, I had to sign up so I could respond. I have no idea what he's talking about. This whole kitchen says New Mexico. Even southern New Mexico, to be more specific, with a few mexican colors thrown in.
The dovetail joints on the fireplace mantel and the range hood beams are part of many details I can see throughout the rest of this kitchen. I've looked through all of the pictures. The workmanship and the authenticity to the style is amazing. The talavera tile in the skylight is the icing on the cake. And then you throw a dog bed next to the fireplace under a cabinet. What more could you ask for? 5 STARS.

The wood on the refrigerator is knotty alder and is the same as all of the other cabinetry except for the island and the hutch with the doggy bed down below. The tile is saltillo and has been used for hundreds of years in this type of architecture. The fireplace is adobe and is used to heat the room. It also heats the artist studio behind it.
