Our original kitchen had a dropped ceiling with florecent lighting. A few pickled oak cabinets with an obnoxiously large island that had no benefits. Notice the blue grout and ceremic tile counter top.

Thank you. You pointed out one of the most important parts of the design. By adding the pennisulsa, the butlers pantry and extending the cabinets to the ceiing; I double the about of cabinetry and place to add great appliances. :

What a difference! I love how you gook the cabinets to the ceiling and did not leave a space. The colors are warm and inviting. The molding around the window is very nice too. Great job on a total renovation!!!!
