My parents moved into their home in 1976 and most of the kitchen was original. Their home is a modular with low ceilings which presented a challenge to the contractor, thankfully he's a detail oriented person and it turned out very nice. The entire project took 3 1/2 months and all the patience my parents had, however they are very pleased with the results.
They chose hickory cabinets, high definition formica counters and ceramic tile floors. Their color choices were influenced a bit by their daughter!
