About This Space

From our very boring white kitchen to an amazing space on the cheap! The biggest change was opening up the walls to the living and dining room. Both walls ended up being load bearing, so we had to hire a contractor to put in some beams and we used the same contractor to re-route the electrical. Otherwise we did all the work ourselves and enjoyed every minute of it. After several years of being mis-matched white and stainless we have finally bought all new stainless and switched to a convection oven and a gas range. Total costs were just under 16.5K including the new appliances. Just taking out the walls was worth that to us. We are completely happy with this space and can't believe we came up with it and it all worked. Yay!
