Our kitchen renovaltion has given us more work space and counter space. The stools are great for a quick breakfast or snack. We love all of the light and warm colors!

Thanks so much for all the feedback. I giggled when some of you recommended that we paint, because my husband had just finished : We do think that a warmer color on the walls would enhance the cozy feeling. I'll post a picture of the newly painted walls once they are ready.

Wonderful, wonderful job! We too have a 1961 house that we just finished a remodel...third time for ours too!

Your space is warm and inviting and looks like a great space to spend time in. Also love the light fixtures....give it a nice "pop" of color! Well done :

Love your kitchen. Painted walls would really look amazing. Ralph Lauren (Thunder Bay is really a nice color. I have it in my living area and kitchen and i just love it. Not to dark or light.

I think the white areas are kind of stark next to the rich brown cabinets. In my opinion a softer tan, taupe, or something in that family range and look warmer.

That said I think the kitchen looks really good.
